Smokin' Hot Date Deviled Eggs
3 Tbsp mayo
¼ tsp kosher salt
1 Tbsp Smokin' Hot Date hot sauce
1 tsp French's yellow mustard (optional)
2 scallions, thinly sliced
2 strips bacon, cooked and coarsely chopped
Preparation / Direction
Cook eggs for 14 minutes. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool. Peel the eggs. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. Transfer the yolks to a mixing bowl and set aside the halved egg whites. Mash the yolks with a fork until crumbly. Stir in the mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, French's Yellow Mustard, and a cap full of Smokin' Hot Date. Stir until the filling is smooth. Either using a piping bag or spoon, fill egg whites with yolk filling. Garnish with bacon and scallions and drizzle a Smokin' Hot Date for added flavor. Pop in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes and serve.
